| Innovative new dance company, COLLISION tours new work ‘LYRICS’ Collision, an exciting and innovative new dance company led by Artistic Director Lisi Perry will be touring their latest work ‘LYRICS’ across Britain throughout the Autumn 2007. Lisi has worked as a dance artist since 1989 working with and for many different companies and choreographers including Scottish Dance Theatre, Motionhouse, Jasmin Vardimon and Thomas Lehmen and now brings together a group of versatile dancers under her own company to offer a piece which is abound with dynamic movement, personalised text and quirky humour. Lisi is fast gaining a reputation for having the ability to draw new audiences into the world of contemporary dance by providing familiar scenarios and images with her humorous and honed choreography and ‘Lyrics’ doesn’t fail to offer the same. Her dancers lead you on a journey of charming stories by fusing complex movement with individualised moments of speech and an eclectic mix of music ranging from The Red Hot chillies Peppers to Gotan Project resulting in an abundance of mimetic worlds which offers its audiences a chance to get to know each dancer personally thereby breaking the traditional boundary between audience and performer.
